There are no words to describe the beauty of this video....and how moved I was while viewing it. It encapsulates everything that I believe about how children are intelligent, strong, capable, and resourceful. One of my very favourite quotes by Gandini is: "Children live this way. They live as if they were conduits of energy and ideas rather than empty vessels seeking knowledge." I love that at SSES, we ask children to be the best that they can be each day, and that even though we want them to have dreams and ambitions, who they are today is greatly valued and nourished. Thank you Mrs. Michaluk for documenting our SSES journey....you are extremely gifted and we are so grateful for the incredible work that you are doing with our students. Thank you for helping to make our teaching and learning at SSES visible!!!
