Mr. Robin Chestnut visited SSES to read to the Grade 1&2 classes for I Love to Read month last week. He works for the local Express newspaper. Mr. Chestnut showed us our picture on the front of the Express! He talked about different types of reading and why reading was so important in his job. It was also the 100th Day of School, so the room was filled with 100 Day Superheroes!
Thank you to Mr. Chestnut for sharing your love of literature with our school. Thank you also to all of our superheroes who help to make our school a better place by taking care of each other, our school, our community, and our world. Your love and enthusiasm for learning is contagious....I can feel your super powers!!!
