Spooky pumpkins....

Our welcome display is looking a little spooky this week.....thanks to Mrs. Korolyk and some of our Grade 4 Garden Club members.  The students met with Mrs. Korolyk to clean and hollow out the pumpkins.....sticky, messy and FUN!  Designing the pumpkins was next!  Each of the students designed the pumpkin faces and Mrs. Korolyk carved the pumpkins to match the designs.  We are so fortunate to have Mrs. Korolyk's designer's touch welcoming students, families and visitors to our school!  Thank you Garden Club members for volunteering your time and enthusiasm!

  1. The pumpkins look nice. Thank you for carving the pumpkins and the guests who walk through the door will be very surprised. It was fun but some look too scary! A big shout out to Mrs. Korolyk!

  2. Thank you so much to Mrs. Korolyk for initiating this beautiful pumpkin display and making our school such an exciting and fun place to come each day to learn and grow. We are so lucky to have such a dedicated, talented, and caring volunteer. Thank you so much to our Grade 4 Garden Club members who are enriching our lives by caring for our school and making an effort to learn and discover the beauty and power of gardening (and its aesthetic beauty.) I know that these experiences will impact your life in years to come as you are already making a difference in the lives of others at SSES (and our community.) Thanks you!
